About Julia

Julia Robinson is a photojournalist and multimedia producer based in her native Austin, Texas.  Clients include the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Dallas Morning News, AOL, USA Today, Austin American-Statesman, and Texas Highways Magazine. 

Julia has a BA in Plan II and Psychology from the University of Texas and studied photojournalism at San Francisco State University. She interned at the Oakland Tribune(CA), the Daily Herald(IL), and completed at fellowship at the Poynter Institute before joining the staff of the Columbia Daily Tribune(MO).

She was a proud member of the Pink team at Eddie Adams Workshop XIX. Her work has been recognized by the Missouri Press Association, the Associated Press, Pictures of the Year International, and the NPPA's Best of Photojournalism.
